The Captain’s Cabin

We recently completed this custom made bunk bed for Sonja Davis' self-catering beach house.

A small room in a house can be a challenge to arrange into a bedroom. Sonja therefore wanted to make it look special, yet optimize the space to accommodate the beds, not to lose any sleep space, and still have enough storage.

After measuring the space for the beds we saw that there was enough space left over for us to install a tall unit for open storage. The bottom panels of the bed are able to lift up to create more storage space beneath the bed which is often underutilized.

Sonja says, “the Captain's Cabin at THE BEACH HOUSE @ Bream Gulley in Marina Beach  is a great hit with all guests, young and old alike!!”

Cole’s Kitchens: more history means more experience

Established nearly three decades ago, Cole’s Kitchens has developed and fine-tuned their design skills in kitchen and custom built cabinetry. Due in large part to their desire to manufacture almost all their kitchen components in their own factory, Cole’s Kitchens is a KSA (Kitchen Specialist Association) registered manufacturer.

Cole’s caters for a wide spectrum of tastes and budgets in their kitchen designs and materials, from a simple melamine kitchen right up to the more prestigious range of techniqued solid woods. And no kitchen ever leaves their factory without their mark of quality and a skilful eye for detail.

Bringing the client into the process is also a key element for a successful kitchen. Designer Paul Cole says, ‘We always encourage our customers to share their vision with us in the design process. A Cole’s Kitchen should truly be ’your’ kitchen. We like to design kitchens and built-ins that make for gracious living, and to provide our customers with the kind of quality and support that would bring them back again if they had opportunity.’

While the company is known as Cole’s Kitchens, a large part of their business includes custom built-in or free-standing items like closets, wall-units, dressers and chests. The beauty of following an open plan design means that the same design theme can flow from the kitchen throughout the house.

Super with Supawood.

This attractive Supawood kitchen shows off a combination of beech wood and stained tebony colour and has countertops overlaid with Tiger White granite. It is one of many beautiful and functional installations by Cole’s Kitchens.
